2013, Just a few resolutions!

After re-visiting my resolutions from last year I think I have done pretty well by sticking to them. So I've decided to give some more a bash this year.

The first one of my resolutions this year is to take more pictures, I have like a dozen cameras but only ever seem to use my phone. So this year I'd like to document my memories by taking lots more pictures, and actually printing them off, rather then them sitting on my laptop.

Another resolution of mine is to learn the piano, I've always wanted to but never got round to taking lessons. I think it would be such an amazing skill to have, and as I finish university this year, I have no excuses as I will have plenty of time for it.

My favourite resolution for this year is to begin to write my bucket list, I've been meaning to start doing this for years, but yet again as I finish university I would love to build it up and start ticking things off.

Last but not least this year I want to start blogging again, last year I well and truly sucked at blogging. I've missed it alot, and just want to get back into the swing of it, which means sorting out my time management and getting my butt into gear.

What's your resolution this year? Or have any fun ideas I can start adding to my bucket list?

Kisses for A/W!

Hey guys, its been a long time, but wanted to show you beautiful lot what lipsticks I'm wearing this autumn winter. They range from high end brands to drugstore bargains, hopefully there is one to everyones taste. I decided to pick out my top ten, but they are not placed in liked order, just in random.

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme D'Nude - A great all year round lipstick, possibly my favourite Mac lipstick about. Its a gorgeous cream/nude colour with a slight gloss to it!

17 Supreme Shine Lipstick in Bella - This for me was a great find, its a matte nude/brown lipstick, which is just gorgeous, its looks great over the top of a plum lipstick too, just to tone it down a little.

Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick in Malaga - I recently found this beauty hiding in my draw, after I bought it a while ago for a halloween lipstick, its a lovely deep red, and also stays put all day!

Sleek Pout Paint in Port - I have so much love for the Sleek Pout Paints, and this has to be my favourite shade they do! A gorgeous deep plum with a yummy gloss finish, perfect!

Jemma Kidd Lipstick in A La Mode - Was given this for a birthday present this year, and fell in love with it straight away, I love a nude lipstick, and this one is simply gorgeous!

Sleek Matte Lipstick in Mystic - Sleek lipsticks are one of my favourites, they have such pigmented colours, plus last forever! This is a beautiful mauve pink shade, an absolute must have!

YSL Rouge Volupté in 12 - If I had to pick my top lipstick at the moment it would be this beauty, I just love the YSL lipsticks. It apply amazingly and is extra smooth, the colour is just gorgeous a great winter plum, which lasts all day!

MUA Lipstick in Shade 7 - For just a pound you really cannot go wrong with this lipstick, a yummy deep pink shade, perfect to brighten up these gloomy days.

Mac Lustre Lipstick in Bright Plum - I bought this lipstick on a whim from the Mac website a little while ago, before checking it out in store or searching for swatches online, and I'm so glad I did! Its a yummy deep plum shade, with a lovely sheen finish.

Sleek Pout Paint in Pinkini - Yet another Pout Paint in my top ten, as you can tell, and as I said before I just love them, this shade is a bright but yet deep pink, why not try it mixed with Port, to create double the beauty!

Hope you girls enjoyed this post, whats are your top lipsticks for this Autumn/Winter?

Illamasqua Cream Blushes

Betray and Crush

This post is a long time due, as you can see I haven't blogged in so long, and to be honest its just cause I have had a lot of other things on, and haven't really being feeling it!

Just a little post showing you lovely girls some swatches of my Illamasqua Cream Blushes, in which I purchased a long time ago when I attended Clothes Show Live in Birmingham.

I have had cream blushes when I was younger, and thinking back I don' think I ever wore them correctly, smudging it in on the ball of my cheek with my fingers. So I thought it was about time I tried them out again. I love the consistency of these blushes, there super soft, and so easy to blend. I still find it difficult finding the right kind of brush to apply it, I'm currently using the Mac 190 Foundation brush which I don't think is the best option.

Any of your beauties got any tips on how to apply cream blushes?

Wild on Sleek!

Sleek Blush in Sunrise, Lipsticks in Liqueur and Babydoll

Just a quick post for you lovely ladies as I and getting ready to go out for some cocktails with Vic and Mel, but just thought I'd inform you beauts that at the moment Superdrug have a fab offer on in which it is 3 for 2 on there lip products, so as you can see I had to make the most of this offer.

I have a few of the Sleek lipsticks already and think they are just lovely, and they also have such a large range of colours and finishes, I picked up Babydoll and Liqueur. So far having only get them the other day I am already in love with Babydoll, and there clear lipgloss over the top just to make it sparkle.

As I was buying the three lip products I thought I might as well pick up another one of there blushes as I already have Sahara which is a bronze colour, and wanted one that was just a tad bit darker but with more of a shimmer to it, and like my Babydoll lipstick, I have not stopped wearing it, its so pigmented so you don't need much at all which is great as it will last me a life time.

Whats your favourite Sleek product? Hope your going to all go make the most of this great offer ;)

Lip Venom

I really can't explain how much I love this product. I purchased it a little while ago from ASOS, and fell in love with it straight away. It's a lovely product, the scent of the lip gloss is cinnamon and it also add's a gorgeous sparkle to your lips. It look's even more gorgeous over the top of a bright colour lipstick too.

The only downside I have found with this product is you don't get much of it at all, a lousy 3.5ml, which for £15 is just a little shocking. Though saying that, I love this product that much no doubt I will be re-purchasing it as soon as I have ran out. Plus it comes in some many different tints and finishes, I just want to try them all.

Have you used any of the Duwop Lip Venom's? What one is your favourite?

Just a few NY Resolutions

One of my first new year resolutions is to act more like a lady. Yes I know this is a weird one, but when with my ladies we like to play up and be loud. This often involves me getting certain objects and pretending I have a penis, and saying "WHAYY" way to loudly. So this year, I would like to be more of a girl.

Another one of my new year resolutions is to save money, last year I was terrible, buying lots of stuff I don't need, and I have never used. I want to be more sensible on what I spend my money on, and would also like to pay of my cards.

This is a funny kind of resolution, but this year I do not want to get in a relationship, I have been in a relationship constantly for the last four years, bar one month between break up, and sticked with it even thought I was not happy, just so I had a boyfriend. Now I think about it, what is the point in being in a unhappy relationship, when I can just have fun and spend more time with my friends. Simple.

This is my most important resolution, and the one I am going to try my hardest to stick to. Is to eat more healthy and lose weight. I've said for the last few years I will do this, but never have, and I feel if I don't actually do it this year, I am never going to. So fingers crossed.

Last but not least is to attend more gigs/shows, last year I hardly went to any compared to the year before. As I will be saving money from buying utter shit, I will hopefully be able to put it toward going to many more shows. I have already got a few planned with my babe Victoria, so I am pretty excited for that.

What are your New Year Resolutions this year?

XOXO

What in my bag?

So after debating on what to blog about today, I thought I might give the 'Whats in your bag?' post a go, as I have never done it before. At the moment I am using my bright pink Marc B bag which I got from ASOS a long time ago. I tend to use this bag when I know I'm going to be wearing a lot of black, just to make things a little bit brighter.

As you can see I haven't got too much in this bag, as I had to clear it out for going to London the other day with my babe Chloe. The top thing that I carry all the time with me is my purse, which is buy Loungefly. The next thing would have to be my phone, I would simply feel lost if I didn't have my phone on me, I also like to carry my diary around with me, as I have a terrible memory, so often forget what day it is, let alone what I need to do. Make up wise, I don't actually carry much with me in the day, as i don't touch up my make up, unless I'm on a night out. The only things I do carry as you can see is my MAC Matt lipstick in Please Me and my DuWop Lip Venom. I also could not go out without having my lip balm, as I am a self confessed addict. Oh and of course my Fendi Perfume, as I just love it a little too much.

Other essentials I like to carry are tissues just incase, paracetamol and cold tablets. As for the big plastic tub, that is full to the brim with Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds, this is because I am on a little health kick, so if I'm feeling peckish I snack on these badboys. Last but not least, I also tend to carry my headphones around with me too, when out or at uni, I listen to my iPhone quite a lot, so couldn't live without these.

What are your must haves in your bag?

Let's have some Cremesheen

Speed Dial and Creme D'Nude

After getting a MAC gift voucher for my birthday from Megan, Chloe and Lauren, I decided I really needed wanted is a nude coloured lipstick. I had heard things about Creme D'Nude before but wasn't actually planning on picking this one as I wanted one that wasn't as popular. Then on chatting to the MUA in MAC I come to the conclusion that I should go with more of a Sheen look rather then a Matt, just so it doesn't look like I've just covered my lips in foundation, lets be honest, that is not a good look. Now after buying Creme D'Nude, I am now in love. Its a really nice neutral tone with a great shine to it, and looks gorgeous with my new DuWop Lip Venom over the top.

As for Speed Dial, this was purchased when I went on holiday but I never got round to swatching it for you guys. Its a lovely shade of pink, again with a gorgeous sheen to it.

Whats your favourite MAC shade?

Christmas comes but once a year, and so does your Birthday!

Just a little post filling your guys in on my Christmas/Birthday, as a lot of you know my birthday is on christmas day, so I have two things to celebrate at this time of year. I had a lovely Christmas day, had my nan and step granddad over for Christmas dinner, after dinner they stayed for a little bit longer before setting off home leaving us to relax. Spent the rest of the day watching Christmas tv and chilling out with my parents. On boxing day we literally watched the movies we all got for xmas back to back, then today we took the girls out for a little walk. Once back I had a lovely christmas themed bath with some gorgeous Lush goodies and I am now doing some designing for Vibe Clothing.

Has everyone else had a lovely Christmas?

Dear Diary ...

I have been so naughty recently, as I have just not blogged in so long. I just feel like I have been so busy, and when I've not been busy I have not felt myself. After breaking up from uni last week, I have been non stop designing. I am looking to launch a new line of t-shirts in the beginning of 2012, I am in the middle of sorting out models and photographers, but I would really like to do a shoot around Oxford then one maybe in London. So my focus has been majority on doing this, and my ladies.

Apart from designing I have just been up to the normal stuff, friends, cinema, nights out and shopping. Nothing overly exciting. I have been working a little more too, just to get a little bit more money, and as I am hoping to increase my contract come new year. Other then the boring normal stuff it is of corse the lead up to Christmas. I really can not believe how fast this year has gone, and yes I am another year older come Christmas Day, just a tad depressing.

Hows everyone else's holidays going? All prepared for Christmas?

P.s. Oh also have a question for you lovely ladies, I having problems designing a font on Photoshop, does anyone have any tips? or sites to buy for a brand?

NEC - Clothes Show Live

The one bad thing about this post is I forgot my camera on the day, and dropped my iPhone which resorted in the screen smashing, so was pretty hard to take pictures while I was at the Clothes Show, but I thought you lovely lot might want a nose at want I got my hands on as the show.

The first thing I managed to get my hands on when we got there was some Models Own, we all got a little to excited when we saw there massive stand at the show. The deal they was doing on the day was buy 3 nail varnishes for £10 and receive a free goody bag, I quickly grabbed the colours above, Pink Lady, Black'n'Red and Aciiied. The goody bag was really good that you got free, must be worth over £25 as you can see in the photo above.

My other favourite bargains are the Illamasqua products, they had an amazing offer of any three items for £10, so I picked up a couple of there cream blushes, which normally retail at £16 and a pure pigment too.  I have only really used there lip gloss, which I wasn't really a fan off, so I'm pretty excited to try out these bits.

I also managed to stock up on Carmex, at the beginning of the day they had the offer of 1 for £2 or 2 for £3. But after thinking about it when walking around, I came back they was selling them all off for 2 for a £1, so I got tonnes :).

On the way out of the event after we had watched the catwalk show, which I must say was brilliant, lots of hot topless male models, is there anything bad about that? We all went to a bag stall which we had saw when we first came in, I ended up buying the bag above, which is a small backpack. I had seen some really cute studded ones about on 'WeHeartIt' and Tumblr, so quickly grabbed this one. I then started too stud it last night, unsure whether to add a few more though, or maybe even some spikes.

All in all it was a really nice day, bar smashing the screen on my phone. Got to see lots of great make up,  fashion and accessory brands, and also the gorge Kirk from TOWIE.

Did anyone else attend the Clothes Show, What did you make of the day?

This is not a music blog but ... Top Tunes

I know not everyone is interested in the same music, but being a lover of all different types I thought it might be interesting for you guys to see what I have been listening to the most recently. This are my must have tracks, that to be honest I have had on repeat for the last couple of weeks. I hope there is something for everyone, and you find it a little interesting :)

Kelly Clarkson - You Can't Win

This is probably my favourite song at the moment, as for her album. I have always been a fan of Kelly Clarkson. She's got an amazing voice and her songs are always so catchy. If you like 'Mr Know It All' you will love the rest of her album too. This song is one of the up beat ones of her album, and I just love the lyrics they are just so clever.

You Me At Six - Crash

As in my last post I had to include a little You Me At Six, I just love this song, it is off there new album. Which I must say is really good. The song is a slower one of the album, but yet again the lyrics ares just lovely. And Josh's voice is just dreamy.

Jason Derulo - It Girl

Now for abit of Jason, I had never really listened to his music before, but after downloading his album, it was soon on repeat. Such a good party album, and some really good songs on it. This is possibly one of my favourites on the cd, but there are lots more really good ones.

Bruno Mars - Runaway Baby

Yes a bit of Bruno, he is my guilty pleasure. Even though there are a few odd songs on his album that really aren't to my taste. There is a handful I really like, and this is one.

Four Year Strong - Sweet Kerosene

I've always liked FYS but never been a major fan of them, as my heart lies mostly with Set Your Goals. But after listening to there newest album, I have fallen just a little in love with them. Its quite different compared to there older music, but in a good way for me. I think its because it sounds a lot more professional.

Long time due!

Yes, I've been so lame for the past couple of weeks. The first week I had a hand in, so was at uni till late and panicking about my work. So this week, being a nice and chilled out one I have just not wanted to do nothing, I just really haven't been motivated to blog at all, I did record two videos, the first one I hated my hair, the second one was to long to upload, so I just gave up on that too.

So this post is just a few little clips on what I have been up to :)

Hows everyone else week been?

London Christmas Blogger Meet

Saturday just gone I was lucky enough to attend the London Christmas Blogger Meet, which was kindly organised by the lovely Emma and Laura. It was held in a cute little bar near Piccadilly Circus, so after getting there ridiculously early I had a little wonder around the shops close to the venue, without realising I can not afford anything in the stores.

Once in the venue we was lead downstairs to a lovely christmas decorated room, in which lots or people started to show up. As we all took a seat I was lucky enough to be surrounded by PujaDaisySusuanaHelen and Amy. When we was settled we had the great privilege of talks from Anna at MaggieAngus, Faye at Wired Jewellery and Sarah from Lush LTD, which I will so a separate post on each of the speakers later this week. Once over we was then handed so many goodies, which made me feel utterly spoiled.

All in all it was a lovely day, and for my first blog meet up I couldn't have been any happier on how well it was, and love meeting some lovely ladies too.

How was your first blog meet up experience?

Emerald City

This is just a little post to show you my new nail varnish addiction, it is the gorgeous Emerald City by Models Own. I was after this a while ago when Models Own had there 50% off sale, but it was unfortunately sold out. After waiting what seems like ages I finally got it on ASOS as they was doing 20% off so it was a bargain at just £4.00.

I just love how thick the glitter is in this polish, it's all I've been wearing since it popped through the post box. I have used Top Turquoise by Models own as a base coat so that the colour is more vivid. Another great thing about glitter polishes is that it is so hard for them to chip. The only bad thing is it is a nightmare to get off, as you get covered in glitter afterwards.

Whats your favourite nail craze? or got any great tips of getting the glitter off hassle free?

Mini Make-up Binge

Matt lipstick in Mystic, Blush in Sahara, Blush in Flamingo

I have been quite sensible recently when it comes to buying make up products, but after seeing that Sleek are 3 for 2 in Superdrug I just had to take advantage of it. I ended up getting these two blushes, Flamingo and Sahara. I also picked up another one of there Matt lipsticks in Mystic. I really love the Sleek lipsticks, the colours are so vivid and they are such good quality.

I also got my Eylure Double Lashes through the post from ASOS.com and they are just gorgeous, I really can't wait to wear them. I also grabbed another pair of the Natural Intense lashes (145) as these are just gorgeous too.

What are your favourite lashes?

Just Another Beauty Box

So after cancelling my subscription to Boudoir Prive last month, it left me a little dosh to subscribe to another one. I had seen a few post floating about on the Feel Unique Beauty Box and after having a nose and a read, I quickly decided to go with it.

I was really please with my first box, there was just so much in it, and in all honesty, its things I will use. My favourite items are defiantly the sample of Prada - Candy, I just love this perfume, and so nearly bought it last month but held back as I have to many as it is. But it is great to have a little sample to use up now. I also love the Bella Pierre shimmer powder, I got a gorgeous gold/green metallic colour, and can't wait to try it out.

What beauty boxes are you babes signed up to?
