Wild on Sleek!

Sleek Blush in Sunrise, Lipsticks in Liqueur and Babydoll

Just a quick post for you lovely ladies as I and getting ready to go out for some cocktails with Vic and Mel, but just thought I'd inform you beauts that at the moment Superdrug have a fab offer on in which it is 3 for 2 on there lip products, so as you can see I had to make the most of this offer.

I have a few of the Sleek lipsticks already and think they are just lovely, and they also have such a large range of colours and finishes, I picked up Babydoll and Liqueur. So far having only get them the other day I am already in love with Babydoll, and there clear lipgloss over the top just to make it sparkle.

As I was buying the three lip products I thought I might as well pick up another one of there blushes as I already have Sahara which is a bronze colour, and wanted one that was just a tad bit darker but with more of a shimmer to it, and like my Babydoll lipstick, I have not stopped wearing it, its so pigmented so you don't need much at all which is great as it will last me a life time.

Whats your favourite Sleek product? Hope your going to all go make the most of this great offer ;)

Let's have some Cremesheen

Speed Dial and Creme D'Nude

After getting a MAC gift voucher for my birthday from Megan, Chloe and Lauren, I decided I really needed wanted is a nude coloured lipstick. I had heard things about Creme D'Nude before but wasn't actually planning on picking this one as I wanted one that wasn't as popular. Then on chatting to the MUA in MAC I come to the conclusion that I should go with more of a Sheen look rather then a Matt, just so it doesn't look like I've just covered my lips in foundation, lets be honest, that is not a good look. Now after buying Creme D'Nude, I am now in love. Its a really nice neutral tone with a great shine to it, and looks gorgeous with my new DuWop Lip Venom over the top.

As for Speed Dial, this was purchased when I went on holiday but I never got round to swatching it for you guys. Its a lovely shade of pink, again with a gorgeous sheen to it.

Whats your favourite MAC shade?

Mini Make-up Binge

Matt lipstick in Mystic, Blush in Sahara, Blush in Flamingo

I have been quite sensible recently when it comes to buying make up products, but after seeing that Sleek are 3 for 2 in Superdrug I just had to take advantage of it. I ended up getting these two blushes, Flamingo and Sahara. I also picked up another one of there Matt lipsticks in Mystic. I really love the Sleek lipsticks, the colours are so vivid and they are such good quality.

I also got my Eylure Double Lashes through the post from ASOS.com and they are just gorgeous, I really can't wait to wear them. I also grabbed another pair of the Natural Intense lashes (145) as these are just gorgeous too.

What are your favourite lashes?

Just Another Beauty Box

So after cancelling my subscription to Boudoir Prive last month, it left me a little dosh to subscribe to another one. I had seen a few post floating about on the Feel Unique Beauty Box and after having a nose and a read, I quickly decided to go with it.

I was really please with my first box, there was just so much in it, and in all honesty, its things I will use. My favourite items are defiantly the sample of Prada - Candy, I just love this perfume, and so nearly bought it last month but held back as I have to many as it is. But it is great to have a little sample to use up now. I also love the Bella Pierre shimmer powder, I got a gorgeous gold/green metallic colour, and can't wait to try it out.

What beauty boxes are you babes signed up to?

Jibber Jabber - my first video

So after thinking about making a video for a long time I have finally got my butt into gear and done one. I was going to start of by doing a nice and easy October Favourites, but then as it is my first video I thought I could throw in a few all time favourites too, along with many awkward faces.

Would love to hear people feedback, whether its good or bad, always nice to know.

It's all about the blush

MUA - Shade 6, Sleek Blush in Pomegranate, Mac Shimmer Tone Blush in Breezy

I only realised the other day while applying my MAC blusher that it was quite similar to a couple of others that I had purchased the last couple of months. The first one I find is quite similar to is Shade 6 from the MUA range, retailing at only £1.00. This shade is  a little darker and more pink undertones then MAC's Breezy, but for a fraction of the price you can't really complain. The other blush that comes up close to MAC's is Sleeks blush in Pomegranate, this yet again had slightly more pink undertones then Breezy and yet again compared to MACs price of £17.00, the sleek blush comes in at a dead cheap £4.99.

Even though each of these blushes are great shades and two are extreme bargians I would really recommend the MAC one, as they are just amazing, they have a great shimmer to them and also last all day.

What other brands do you recommend?

So as you can tell I've been back to blogging a bit more recently, and I blame being very ill. I've been to the doctors twice already this week, and not to uni at all. One of the good things about being ill and off uni is spending my days with these little buggers, they look after me and give me cuddles to make me better.

Poudre Visage

I've had this product for a while now, and hadn't even opened it. I purchased it on ASOS.com for I think it was just under £8.00 in the sale. The packaging is just gorgeous, as are all of Paul & Joe's products, plus the little compact is just to die for too and comes with a mirror. I really like the colour/tone of the face colour, and makes the perfect contour kit.

What do you think of Paul & Joe?

SMASHBOXXXXX

So the other day I finally gave in and subscribed to Elle, as I buy it most months. I've never really been a fan of Elle before, but after starting uni it is a really good magazine for tear sheets and to get inspiration. Also not to mention the great offer then had going, I only noticed the offer on the last day so it isn't available anymore.

I signed up to to Elle for a great £18.00 for the year, which is a massive saving, and I also received these great Smashbox products. As I was yet to try Smashbox I thought it was a great opportunity to grab a few bits and try them. In the picture above I did wear the Under Eye Illuminator, but as you can see throughout the day it has kind of worn away.  As for the other items I received I have only really tried the Powder Eye Liner, and that was only on Saturday night.

What items do you recommend from Smashbox's collections?

Holiday Haul

Yes, as you can tell, I went a little too wild at the duty free in Gatwick. As I am sure all you over girlies would have too, I ended up getting quite alot from MAC. I had saved myself for duty free as I knew you get a little bit off, I come away with five Lipgelees, Opilash, Bronzer, Studio Fix, Concealer, Lip Conditioner, Lipstick in Speed Dial and also grabbed a few brushes.

Out of what I have bought I would really recommend MAC Brush 224 Blending Brush, as it is amazing. I've never been to good at creating a smokey eye, but with this amazing brush its just so easy, also Opilash is great, its such a nice big brush, and not the rubbish plastic type.

As you can see I also picked up Urban Decays Naked palette, which I would also recommend, each shadow is just so highly pigmented and will go with any skin tone and eye colour. And then you have to get a perfume while in duty free, its like the law. So I picked up Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy which is gorgeous, I have wanted this perfume for a while but the one I wanted to get was Fendi's Fen di which they didn't have at the airport (but I got my mitts on it when I got home).

Would you like to see swatches or reviews of any of the products? And whats been your best duty free purchase?

MAC MAC MAC

Left : Sunbasque           Right : Breezy

I have been meaning to do a post on these beauties since I started blogging. They are MACS Sheertone Blush in 'Sunbasque' and 'Breezy'. I have a serious love for these blushes, in my opinion MAC are just unbeatable when it comes to blush. They last all day, and with the added shimmer compared to majority of other branded blushes, which adds a highlighted element. After buying my first one or the Sheertone Blushes, I have since bought another four, as I just can't get enough of them.

Can you recommend me any gorgeous shades?

Bargain Galore

So as it was payday today, I thought I owed it to myself to do a little bit of shopping. I'm so glad I did too I went into Boots to find this great Ruby and Millie Eyelash kit, which comes with an eyelash applicator, eyelash glue and two sets of fake eyelashes for just £3.15.

Then I went to Superdrug to find even more bargain, first I grabbed this Eylure 'Punk' gift set for £4.99 which is great seen as the eyelashes separately are roughly about £5.00 a pair. I then saw that Famous by Sue Moxley products are all half price. I did get a little excited and had to hold myself back from spending lots of money on all the lovely products that was there.

In the end I got the Baked Bronze for £3.00, a coral lipstick for £2.00, the blush and highlighter for £3.25 and the baked eyeshadow for £2.00. They had so many more great products up for grabs at such great prices. I did swatch all these but I was really not happy with how the pictures turned out when it come to creating this post, so I will swatch them again at a later date.

Go and check out all these good offers ladies, make the most of it :)

All About Nude

I'm always a sucker for getting something free, so when I strolled into Boots the other day I couldn't help but take up 17 on there offer, If you buy any two items you get this lovely 'All About Nude' Palette free, which consists of two eye shadows (top) and top lip stains (bottom).

I've wanted to get the Photo Flawless Primer for a while, but my local Boots never seems to have it. As for the Shimmer Dust one of the girlies at work wear it rather then a Blush, and it always looks so nice so I instantly grabbed that too.

The only lethal thing with buying these is that I was given a £5 N.07 voucher, in which it would be rude not to use :).

August Glossy Box

Just a quick post as at the moment I'm attempting to pack to go down to my boyfriends for the weekend as its his birthday. My Glossy Box came in the post this morning to my surprise, wasn't expecting to get it until I got back from Southend on Monday.

I was so chuffed to get it today before I left as a couple of the products are great to whack in my weekend bag :). I am really happy with this months Glossy Box, and I am defiantly going to use all of the products. The Ahava Body Lotion is my favourite product this month as it just smells lovely, not to strong like a lot of other lotions. Coming closely in second is the Daniel Sandler Baby Jet Mascara, I can't wait to whack this on later, been meaning to get a smaller brushed mascara for inner and outer lashes, but never got round to it, so I'm really excited about this one :).

What did everyone else get in this box? How much do you love the products this month?

Sleek Pout Paint's

So recently I've been building up my Pout Paint collection, as you can see I near to getting nearly all of the shades they have bought out. I have gone a little wild buying these, due to them being so amazing. I often find that lipsticks really dry my lips out and lip glosses are far to sticky for my liking. Thats what makes the Pout Paint to good, for me its like a lipstick, lipgloss and lip balm combined which is just genius.

With the fact you can also create the perfect personal shade by mixing different colours together it, I have slowly been playing around with the shades I have purchased, and will be doing another post very soon showing the shades/colours I've made up. But just for now I wanted to say how great I think this product is, and can't wait to get every last one of the colours.

What do you think of the Sleek Pout Paint? What great colours are you coming out with?

Just a 'Juicy Peach'

This is just a little post dedicated to one of my favourite blushes, it's by the brand GOSH and its called 'Juicy Peach' number 41. As you can see it has broken from being in my bag, and I'm desperately trying to keep it together cause I don't want to throw it away. GOSH is one of the best high street brand about in my opinion, the prices are great for the products they sell. I can't wait to purchase more products from GOSH, and I will defiantly be getting more of there natural blushes.

Whats do you think of the GOSH range? Are you as impressed as me?

Sleek's Mineral Based Eyeshadow Palette - 'Storm"

This is some quick swatches of the Sleek Palette in 'Storm', this is honestly my favourite eyeshadow palette I have ever owned. The colours are gorgeous and have such depth. The Sleek eyeshadows are also great consistency and ever so easy to blend, I love that they also come with a huge mirror inside the top, which is great for creating detailed eyes. I would really recommend the Sleek Palettes as they are such great value for money too.
