17 Vintage Love in Perfect Pastels

Just a little review on 17's Limited Edition Vintage Love palette in Perfect Pastels, I am still yet to use it on my eyes, but I have done some quick swatches of the shades you got within the palette.
There are some gorgeous metallic pastel shades. They are all soft and would be easy to blend together on the eye lid, I will try and attempt a look for this palette later in time.

MUA Haul

Later my local Superdrug finally started to stock MUA, after hearing a lot about it through many various blogs I was excited to see it in my store, and purchase some of the products.

I selected four of the MUA lipsticks, a lot of the shades have more of a glitter/sheen finish to them, and the colours are not a vibrant as the ones I selected. The ones I bought have more of a bright vivid matt finish, with a light sheen. There lipsticks are of great quality, really moisturising and long lasting too. As they are only a pound each I really wasn't expecting them to be that good, the only down fall to the lipsticks is the amount you get, in comparison to such brands as Sleek and Barry M the amount you get is 1/3 less then more expensive products, but to be honest they are only a pound so even to replace with another one it would still be cheaper then buying Sleek or Barry M.

As for the blushes, I am still yet to use them so cannot offer a full review.

A few weeks ago I went down to our Canal Boat with my parents for a lazy day cruising down the river, was such a lovely day, and was my first proper day on the boat since they had bought it. Was really nice and relaxing, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous that day too.
I really don't make the most of living near the river and the canal, but I really should. I've been looking into getting a push bike recently so I can cycle down and just have some me time, would be nice to just put my iPod on shuffle and just start riding.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, was taken with my Canon 1000D using a fish-eye lens :)

A little while ago I purchased a couple of 17 products, I don't normally think of 17 when I am make up shopping. I was really surprised with the quality of the products, both of them are great products.

The blush is a great colour as it isnt as pink and most of my others so it is a lot more natural looking, also the Blush and Glow is just amazing, as you get a gorgeous deep pink blush and a highlighter on the other side. For me it reminds me of the Benefit one, but just on a cheaper scale.

Overall I am really satisfied with the products, and I am now an official 17 lover :)

The other day I was doing some browsing on Me & Zena and come across this little beauty, and after hinting to my other half he ordered it for me. To my surprise it come the next day even though he ordered it late in the evening.

I'm so happy with the necklace, its super cute and its chain is also a lot longer then I thought it would be, as most necklace chains are quite small this is the perfect length, I will defiantly be browsing Me & Zena again to find more little beauties for my other half to purchase :)

So a little while ago I purchased the new shades of Barry M lipstick, as I have always opted for either there baby pink or florescent pink.

I have only wore them a handful of times as the Barry M lipsticks really dry my lips out and the colour comes away quite quick so you have to keep re-applying. Saying that the colours of these are gorgeous, and look great with any complexion. My favourite would have to be Shade 147 which is the yummy orange/peach colour, and for only £4.49 they are a bargain, also a lot of the time Barry M has great offers on at Boots and Superdrug.

So this week I have been major busy, its my second week back on the shop-floor at work, and I must say its bloody tiring going back to full time work after being part time for around 3 years.

As well as working full time, I have been trying to make my first lot of sellable crafts consisting of some framed cross-stitches, cute half aprons and eyemasks. Along with making these bits, I'm also designing some T-shirt/Dress prints for 'Baby, I'm Bored' after revisiting some of the designs I had done for it when I was around 15/16 :).

A couple of the pictures in this post are from last sunday, as I went to Cowley Road Carnival with Craig. Was a really good day and had some really yummy Jerk Chicken at the end of it. There is also a photo of the view from the villa we have rented for when we go to Cyprus in September.

The rest are just little things that I got upto, like sorting out all my photo frames in my room and changing the pictures round, and I also finally got round to backing up my MacBook onto my external hard drive. After thinking about doing it for the past month.
