Back to Business

I have not blogged in about a week I think, as i've been so busy with uni. This is my first week back and my first week studying my specialism subject, and I must say its harder then I thought. Don't get me wrong i'm really enjoying it, ands its so nice getting back in the creative mood! Then again it is scary that I have one more year left after this, and if this year goes as fast as last year, it will be over before I know it.

Other then the vast amount of work, it has been so lovely seeing all the girl's. We went to Nandos this afternoon to celebrate Ginni's birthday, as its her 21st on Sunday, and it was just so nice to hang out. Missed them lots.

Hows everyone else's week been? Students enjoying being back at uni?

Holiday Haul

Yes, as you can tell, I went a little too wild at the duty free in Gatwick. As I am sure all you over girlies would have too, I ended up getting quite alot from MAC. I had saved myself for duty free as I knew you get a little bit off, I come away with five Lipgelees, Opilash, Bronzer, Studio Fix, Concealer, Lip Conditioner, Lipstick in Speed Dial and also grabbed a few brushes.

Out of what I have bought I would really recommend MAC Brush 224 Blending Brush, as it is amazing. I've never been to good at creating a smokey eye, but with this amazing brush its just so easy, also Opilash is great, its such a nice big brush, and not the rubbish plastic type.

As you can see I also picked up Urban Decays Naked palette, which I would also recommend, each shadow is just so highly pigmented and will go with any skin tone and eye colour. And then you have to get a perfume while in duty free, its like the law. So I picked up Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy which is gorgeous, I have wanted this perfume for a while but the one I wanted to get was Fendi's Fen di which they didn't have at the airport (but I got my mitts on it when I got home).

Would you like to see swatches or reviews of any of the products? And whats been your best duty free purchase?

Wild in Cyprus

Heres a few of my holiday snaps for you lovely lot. As you guess I went to Cyprus last Saturday for the week, and got back early yesterday morning. It was mega hot when we was there, but I'm not a great lover of the heat so I spent majority of it in the pool. We stayed in Coral Bay in a cute little villa complex, and was about 20 minute drive from Pathos.

The one great thing about going abroad is all the cheap fakes they do, got my mitts on a few lovely bits (which I will show in another post). Oh and not to mention duty free :).

How has everyones week been? Also hope all you new starters at uni are getting along great :)

All I see are bags

So I'm going to be really naughty and buy a new bag for when I go back to uni in a few weeks, I know in all honestly you can never have enough bags. I'm just finding it really hard to choose what one. these are the five I am trying to decide on, the top three are River Island and the bottom two are ASOS.

The one I am swaying towards is the middle River Island one, its only £30.00 and its also a great size for cramming all my uni work in. Plus I don't own anything with the Dalmatian Print on, and its going to be a key print for A/W.

What do you guys think? Which one would you get?

MAC MAC MAC

Left : Sunbasque           Right : Breezy

I have been meaning to do a post on these beauties since I started blogging. They are MACS Sheertone Blush in 'Sunbasque' and 'Breezy'. I have a serious love for these blushes, in my opinion MAC are just unbeatable when it comes to blush. They last all day, and with the added shimmer compared to majority of other branded blushes, which adds a highlighted element. After buying my first one or the Sheertone Blushes, I have since bought another four, as I just can't get enough of them.

Can you recommend me any gorgeous shades?

Skull Scarf Maniac

I haven't done much shopping at all this month, as I'm trying to save my money for when I go to Cyprus next Saturday. But there is one thing I'm gone a little made on buying recently, and that is scarfs.

I already had a black and pink skull print scarf from about 3 years ago, but I just want more. I wear my skull scarf at least ones a week, so I decided having it in more colours would be a great idea :). I also got a couple of necklace from Topman from the sale, I think they are pretty cute for mens jewellery, and I also got the leopard print scarf from H&M and its massive, so much fabric. It will be so nice and cosy for the winter days ahead.

What are you girlies buying at the moment? Can you ever have to much of one thing? ;)
