All that Jazzz!



Recently, if I get a few minutes I've been messing about on these false nails I got off ebay, just trying ideas out, and perfecting ones which I do on my own, it's a great way to practice.


As you can see I've done a few different styles, at the moment I love glitter tips. I really like the way it looks like you've just dipped the tips in. I also love space nails, I still have not got it perfect, but these are the best I've done so far, I think they are adorable.

Lush Virgin



Yes you guessed it, I was a Lush virgin until yesterday. I never really bothered to go in there, as I thought the smell would give me a headache, and plus I never really knew anyone who used it so I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleased with my first Lush experience, the staff we're lovely, and full of information on bits to buy, you can see that as I only really went in to purchase the Bubblegum lip scrub and I ended up coming out with a couple more bits.


I was so excited to have a nice deep bath this evening using the Avobath which I got yesterday, it has a menthol kind of scent and its just yummy. To my surprise too it left no grit at the bottom of my bath, which I find a lot of bath bombs tend to do. I'm now just a little to excited for my next bath so I can use my Bath Melt, as it just smells glorious.

Can anyone else recommend some other Lush products? As I can't wait to go and purchase some more :)

Bargain Galore



So as it was payday today, I thought I owed it to myself to do a little bit of shopping. I'm so glad I did too I went into Boots to find this great Ruby and Millie Eyelash kit, which comes with an eyelash applicator, eyelash glue and two sets of fake eyelashes for just £3.15.

Then I went to Superdrug to find even more bargain, first I grabbed this Eylure 'Punk' gift set for £4.99 which is great seen as the eyelashes separately are roughly about £5.00 a pair. I then saw that Famous by Sue Moxley products are all half price. I did get a little excited and had to hold myself back from spending lots of money on all the lovely products that was there. 

In the end I got the Baked Bronze for £3.00, a coral lipstick for £2.00, the blush and highlighter for £3.25 and the baked eyeshadow for £2.00. They had so many more great products up for grabs at such great prices. I did swatch all these but I was really not happy with how the pictures turned out when it come to creating this post, so I will swatch them again at a later date.

Top Four, Evening Perfumes



As I had previously done my Top Four, Day-Time Perfumes, I thought it was about time I done this post. As before I have chosen these out of all my perfumes that I have recently re-found, and started using them all again.

Gucci, Gucci Eau de Toilette - This is quite a strong scent, but absolutely gorgeous, I first smelt it when my friend Victoria was wearing it, and had to get a bottle myself, its just lovely.

Ghost, Ghost - This is another one I have smelt on someone else before purchasing, and believe it or not it was my mum. I love this scent, its really hard to describe it, but go and check it out. It's such a good price to, and wont harm the bank balance.

Jean Paul Gaultier, Classique - Probably one of the most well know perfume, but its so simple and such an elegant scent. It stays put all evening and is just perfect.

Viktor Rolf, Flowerbomb - I was given this perfume for christmas this year, and after knowing hoe expensive it is I was scared to waste it away, so it's been hidden in a box since then, as you can see since i've re-found it, I have used quite a bit. I just love this perfume, its a nice fruity scent the only problem is it doesn't last as long as I would have liked, and you have to re-apply a few times in the evening.

All About Nude



I'm always a sucker for getting something free, so when I strolled into Boots the other day I couldn't help but take up 17 on there offer, If you buy any two items you get this lovely 'All About Nude' Palette free, which consists of two eye shadows (top) and top lip stains (bottom). 

I've wanted to get the Photo Flawless Primer for a while, but my local Boots never seems to have it. As for the Shimmer Dust one of the girlies at work wear it rather then a Blush, and it always looks so nice so I instantly grabbed that too. 

The only lethal thing with buying these is that I was given a £5 N.07 voucher, in which it would be rude not to use :).

Saturday Portrait


Just a little update, right now I'm in Southend, celebrating my other halves 22nd birthday. Yesterday we went into Southend to do a bit of shopping, I got a few bits of make up and that was about it :). Got the free nude palette that 17 are giving out if you buy any two items from the 17 range. Other then that I really haven't been upto much, we just went to Asda this morning to get a few bits for a BBQ later on and then chilling out for the rest of the day!

Top Four Day-Time Fragrances



A little post about fragrances, I have lots of bottles of perfume, but I'm terrible and normally just stick to the same one. So recently I digged out all or my fragrances and started switching them about everyday to make things a little less boring. While I've been doing this I come across some I'd totally forgot about so decided to do a top four day and a top four night perfume posts.

Ralph Lauren, Romance - This is just lovely, the scent is a lot more floral then I usually wear, but its such a deep intense smell, I just can't get enough of it.

Diesel, Fuel for Life - This one is possibly one of my all time favourite perfumes, its just gorgeous, a very flirty sent.

Paco Rabanne, Black XS - I love this scent, its super fruity and yummy.

Valentino, Rock n Rose - Another one of my top perfumes yet again it is quite a floral and very fresh scent. I really need to pick up another bottle of this beauty.

August Glossy Box



Just a quick post as at the moment I'm attempting to pack to go down to my boyfriends for the weekend as its his birthday. My Glossy Box came in the post this morning to my surprise, wasn't expecting to get it until I got back from Southend on Monday. 

I was so chuffed to get it today before I left as a couple of the products are great to whack in my weekend bag :). I am really happy with this months Glossy Box, and I am defiantly going to use all of the products. The Ahava Body Lotion is my favourite product this month as it just smells lovely, not to strong like a lot of other lotions. Coming closely in second is the Daniel Sandler Baby Jet Mascara, I can't wait to whack this on later, been meaning to get a smaller brushed mascara for inner and outer lashes, but never got round to it, so I'm really excited about this one :).

I've been looking for some basic silver cross earrings for a while know and hadn't been able to find any. Then I turned to my trusted friend Ebay and found these beauties. They are super cute, and go with most things.

What I have been up to!



So in all honesty I totally forgot to do a little summery of my week, and what I have been up to. I didn't really do much in the week as I had work, and that always makes me super sleepy. Then for the weekend I met up with my BFFS Dano and Vic, as I hadn't seen them for a while, and they jetted off to Ireland yesterday for a week, so we had a lovely catch up. Then on Sunday I spent most of my day being lazy and painting some nail sets I got in the post.

Sleek Pout Paint's





So recently I've been building up my Pout Paint collection, as you can see I near to getting nearly all of the shades they have bought out. I have gone a little wild buying these, due to them being so amazing. I often find that lipsticks really dry my lips out and lip glosses are far to sticky for my liking. Thats what makes the Pout Paint to good, for me its like a lipstick, lipgloss and lip balm combined which is just genius. 

With the fact you can also create the perfect personal shade by mixing different colours together it, I have slowly been playing around with the shades I have purchased, and will be doing another post very soon showing the shades/colours I've made up. But just for now I wanted to say how great I think this product is, and can't wait to get every last one of the colours.

Updated Storage




As you can see I have gone a little storage mad recently, this is only because a few months ago I decided I wanted some new furniture in my bedroom, seen as the furniture I had was like a million years old. I decided to go with dark woods, to get more of a warm feel, so I purchased all my draws and wardrobes and carried on looking for shelfs and a desk/dressing table.


It was only last week I decided I just needed to sort out my desk, with my make up all about my room, and collecting dust sitting on the side it was getting too much. I decided to just go for this cheap Argos desk, at only £49.99. It's perfect for what I wanted, and much smaller from what I had before so makes my room feel a lot bigger. What I love about this desk is the little draws at the side, as you can see I have bought some metal organisers (from Wilkison) for the draws so I can organise my make up in them, to keep it looking neat. I have also got a cute plastic tumbler from Asda for all my brushes/tweezers/scissors. 


I also got a new bookcase in the dark wood, so I would match with the rest of my room, and even after filling up that and one of my old bookcases which I stained darker, I have yet again ran out of space for my DVD's. So I seriously need some other ideas on how to store them, if anyone has any?


Anyways, I am finally content with how my room looks, the only thing left to buy is a nice comfy chair for my desk, but I'm not in any rush :D

Top Ten - Nail Varnishes

In this post I am showing off my top ten nail varnishes, I have quite a large range so thought doing a top ten would be more interesting the doing a top three or five. I have linked each of them to where you can purchase the nail varnish. 

1. Raspberry by Barry M - It's more of a blood red colour when applied to the nail, but its perfect for a classic night look.

2. 206 by Stargazzer - I love this nude shade, looks so good with any outfit or for any occasion, it also lasts a long time without chipping.

3. Grey by Barry M - A nice deep grey shade, looks gorgeous with a matt top coat.

4. Mint by Rimmel - This colour is gorgeous for the summer, looks lovely with a tan and so versatile.

5. Bright Pink by Barry M - This is possibly my most purchased nail polish, I just can't get enough of this shade :).

6. Cosmic Polish by Eyeko - This nail varnish is just yummy, with its fine multi-coloured glitter running all the way through it, great for creating the perfect cosmic nails.

7. Champagne by Models Own - This is another on I just can't get enough of recently, it comes out a beautiful light gold, and is great to do a leopard print design with. Or even some sexy gold tips.

8. Black Swirl by Models Own - This is my newest addiction to my Models Own collection, and I love it. Its a new look on just the plain black nail varnish, as it has more of an metallic sheen running through it.

9. 265 by Stargazzer - A nice vivid pink which everyone needs in there collection, also looks fabulous with a tan.

10. Pink Glitter by Barry M - I mostly use this one for a top coat, I know glitter nails can be a bit childish (specially pink) but I just love it.

What I have been up to!



Just a few photos of what I've been up to recently. Most are of yesterday when Lauren and me went to Thorpe Park for the day. It was a really nice day, and we had a right laugh messing about and dancing to Beyonce :). I've now just got back from my first Weight Watchers meeting, so I'm super sleepy since getting up at 6am and being at work all day. Meaning this post it extra short :(.

Little Day Out



Today I met up with my bff Craig, for a little day out to Bicester Village, he come to mine for 1pm and then I drove down to have a nose around the shops. I haven't been since they added aloud of shops like Vivienne Westwood and Juicy Couture. I must say I felt a little let down, they had a few nice bits, but nothing amazing. 


After a nose round we went for a pub lunch and Craig suggested we could go Cowley for a bit. That is where I bought all the bargains above, I got all the Jemma Kidd make up for £6.00, grabbed it straight away as I have wanted to test the brand for ages. My other favourite buys were the two straw floppy hats I bought, as they was only £3.00 each I had to get both of the colours.

Naughty Nail Varnish


The other day I bought a few bits from Superdrug as I wanted to treat myself, I also pick up a couple of Barry M nail varnishes. Recently I had kind of gone off Barry M as I feel like it chips an awful lot, and that they are quite watery. But seeing everyone blog about the Peach Melba colour I had to get it, is such a lovely shade and will look lovely with a tan. I also picked up Berry as it was £4.99 and lilac is always so easy to wear.

I tested them out on my new nail wheels I got on ebay, just to practice some nail art and to test colours too. This was just using one coat, so as you can see the coverage is really good and doesn't looks watery at all.

Wild Weekend



So I've been mega busy the past few days. I worked all day Saturday and then went out in the evening for a mini night out with the guys and girls. It was a really good night, tried a new bar which had '241' cocktails until 10pm, and at £3.95 that is a bargain. After going to Bar Aroma we went done to the next bar for a little bit and then headed to 02 for some dancing. 

It was a really good night, but as I had to work Sunday I didn't want to stay out too late so I ended up going home at 1am. Then work on Sunday was extra long, as I had to work until 9pm. I then had work today at 8am, so I'm just mega tired. All I have wanted to do is sit and paint my nails and catch up on blogging.
